What is Solr?

Solr is an app that helps you break phone addiction by pairing a powerful affirmation with every moment you reach for a distracting app. Instead of just blocking apps, Solr turns that impulse into a small mindset shift — backed by science.

How does it work?

You choose which apps to manage. When you try to open one, Solr pauses it and shows you an affirmation. Speak it, write it, or type it out — then unlock your app for as long as you need. Apps re-lock automatically. The more you do it, the more natural it becomes.

Does Solr work on all apps?

You can choose any app on your phone to manage with Solr — social media, games, browsers, and more.

Is my data private?

All your data stays on your device or your private account. Speech recognition runs on-device and is never shared. Your growth is yours alone. See our Privacy Policy.

I lost my streak — can it be restored?

Streaks reset if you miss a day. We don't currently offer manual streak restoration, but we're working on improvements. Reach out if you have questions.
